Dry fruit Coconut Burfi is a snack that is made with a mixture of coconut, milk, sugar, and cornflour. The mixture is cooked in a pan and then dried. The snack is eaten by breaking it into pieces and can be stored for up to six months. It is an excellent source of proteins, carbohydrates, calcium, iron, and vitamins.

This is a Indian Traditional sweet which is very fond by the peoples of India,
which is basically made by desiccated coconut and a mixture of Dry Fruit and spices.

Ingredients 

Ghee - 1 tbsp
Chopped Dry fruits - 150 gm
Milk - 250 gm 
Sugar - 100 gm
Saffron (for taste and colour) 
Nutmeg & cinnamon - 1 tbsp
Desiccated coconut - 250 gm

Steps to make Best Dry fruit coconut burfi recipe

1.Take a pan, add 1 tbsp of Ghee into it, and let it get heated.

2.Now, add the Chopped Dry fruits in the pan and saute it on a low flame, for preventing it from over heating.

3.Now a fresh smell of Dry fruits will taste your nose, that means the dry fruits has been sauted.

4.  Now empty the pan and transfer the sauted dry fruits in a bowl or a container, you can also use different pan for this but we need to have the fresh aroma of dry fruits so we are using the same pan for the preparation of our next step.

5. Now in the pan add measured amount of milk and into it add desiccated coconut and mix it well and mix well, into it we have added saffron for taste and for pleasant aroma, you can also use diluted yellow food colour, but the taste would differ due to preservatives, we don't recommend you using food colours.

6. Now add measured quantity of sugar with Nutmeg & cinnamon and mix it well.

7. *This procedure should be strictly followed on low flame or results may vary.

8. Now mix the mixture till all the milk is absorber by the coconut.

9. Now take out in a plate and cool it for approx. 1 mins and start rolling it, we have rolled here in cylindrical shape, you can also shape into ladoo shape etc.

10. Now garnish the Dry fruit Coconut Burfi, with some chopped dry fruits.

11. Now plate the Dry fruit Coconut Burfi, for your family, friends and loved one.
